South Florida Sports Events: Where to Find Dippin’ Dots This September

September is bringing a packed calendar of South Florida sports events, college football, Miami baseball and community celebrations—and Total Snacks is right in the middle of the action.

This month, you can find Dippin’ Dots at some of our favorite venues across South Florida, including Pitbull Stadium at Florida International University, Flagler Credit Union Stadium at Florida Atlantic University and loanDepot park in Miami. And with football season officially underway, there’s another flavor joining the starting lineup: Dr Pepper flavored Dippin’ Dots.

Whether you’re cheering for your school, spending an afternoon at the ballpark or celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with the community, here’s where you can catch up with us this September.

College Football Is Back in South Florida

Few things say September quite like college football.

This year, Total Snacks is returning to both Florida International University (FIU) in Miami and Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton as their football seasons get underway.

For us, these aren’t just places on a calendar. They’re part of a growing network of South Florida venues where we get to serve fans, students, families and alumni throughout the year.

FIU Football Returns to Pitbull Stadium

FIU plays its 2026 home opener on Saturday, September 12, hosting Buffalo at Pitbull Stadium at 6 PM. The game is also part of FIU’s 25th Season Celebration.

We’ll be back at FIU again on September 26, when the Panthers host LIU at 6 PM for Family Weekend.

If you’re spending your Saturday with the Panthers, keep an eye out for Dippin’ Dots while you’re at the stadium.

FIU September football dates:

  • September 12: FIU vs. Buffalo — 6 PM
  • September 26: FIU vs. LIU — 6 PM

FAU Football Brings Game Day to Boca Raton

Our September football schedule also takes us north to Boca Raton.

On September 12, Florida Atlantic opens its home schedule against Navy at Flagler Credit Union Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM, and the game is FAU’s Salute to Service Night.

Then comes one of the most interesting games on our September calendar.

FIU vs. FAU: The Shula Bowl Returns September 19

On Saturday, September 19, FIU and FAU meet in Boca Raton for the annual Shula Bowl.

The Owls host the Panthers at 6 PM at Flagler Credit Union Stadium, with FAU also recognizing local educators as part of Educators’ Appreciation.

It’s a South Florida rivalry, two universities we know well, and exactly the kind of Saturday that calls for something cold in the stands.

FAU September football dates:

  • September 12: Florida Atlantic vs. Navy — 7:30 PM
  • September 19: Florida Atlantic vs. FIU — 6 PM

Meet Dr Pepper Flavored Dippin’ Dots

Football season also gives us a perfect excuse to spotlight one of the newest flavors in the Dippin’ Dots lineup.

Dr Pepper flavored Dippin’ Dots takes the unmistakable taste of Dr Pepper and gives it the Dippin’ Dots treatment.

Inspired by the legendary blend of 23 flavors behind Dr Pepper, the new flavor combines one iconic taste with the original flash-frozen ice cream experience. Dippin’ Dots describes it as bold, refreshing and unmistakably Dr Pepper.

And this football season, we’re putting the spotlight on Dr Pepper flavored Dippin’ Dots at the stadiums.

So when you spot us during a football game at FIU or FAU, this is one flavor worth looking for.

23 flavors. Thousands of tiny dots. One very interesting game-day combination.

September Baseball at loanDepot park

Football may be starting, but baseball isn’t finished yet.

September brings two more stretches of Miami Marlins baseball at loanDepot park, where Total Snacks continues serving Dippin’ Dots throughout the season.

From September 11–13, the Marlins host the Los Angeles Dodgers for a three-game weekend series in Miami.

Then, from September 25–27, the Atlanta Braves come to Miami for the final series of the Marlins’ 2026 regular season.

That means six more September dates to grab your favorite Dippin’ Dots at the ballpark.

And, of course, loanDepot park is also the home of something you won’t find at our other locations: Dotchos—mini churros, chocolate dipping sauce and Cookies ’N Cream Dippin’ Dots together in one ballpark-only creation.

September at loanDepot park:

  • September 11–13: Miami Marlins vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
  • September 25–27: Miami Marlins vs. Atlanta Braves

More Than Sports: Hispanic Heritage Night in Wellington

September isn’t only about stadiums.

On Friday, September 18, we’re heading to Wellington for the Village of Wellington’s Hispanic Heritage Night at the Wellington Amphitheater.

The free community celebration runs from 5 PM to 10 PM and celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with music, food, dancing, family-friendly activities and performances from local dance groups and Latinos in Action chapters from schools throughout Palm Beach County.

For Total Snacks, events like this are another part of what makes working throughout South Florida special. One night we may be surrounded by thousands of football fans; the next, we’re serving families coming together to celebrate the cultures and traditions that make our communities what they are.
