Since Eleazar López Contreras and Mabe León-Ponte started Total Snacks in Miami in 2015, the company has grown from a single retail kiosk into a business spanning retail, sporting and entertainment venues, catering, fundraising, vending and wholesale partnerships.
With that growth came the need for more space — and a facility capable of supporting an increasingly busy operation.
The new Miami warehouse now houses Dippin’ Dots inventory, branded freezers, equipment and materials used across Total Snacks’ different areas of business. Soon, the company’s offices will also move into the facility, bringing the operational and administrative teams together under one roof.
Behind the Scenes of a Dippin’ Dots Distributor in South Florida
Approximately every two weeks, Total Snacks receives a major Dippin’ Dots shipment at the warehouse. Products are stored under the specialized frozen conditions required for Dippin’ Dots before being organized into orders for customers and locations across the region.
From there, the team prepares each delivery and loads the company’s Dippin’ Dots vans, ready for another round of distribution. It’s a side of Total Snacks that customers rarely get to see.
Behind every colorful freezer and every serving of Dippin’ Dots is a local operation coordinating inventory, equipment and deliveries to keep products moving where they need to go.

The additional space is particularly important as Total Snacks continues developing partnerships with schools, retailers, entertainment venues and other organizations.
